Clobutra cream 25g
Clobutra cream 25g
Anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic action. When applied topically, it eliminates edema, hyperemia and itching in eczema, psoriasis, etc.
Clobutra
Compound:
Each gram of cream contains:
Clobetasol propionate 0.5 mg
Auxiliary components:
Cetostearyl alcohol, glycerol monostearate, white beeswax, tegoker 165, chlorocresol, propylene glycol, purified water.
Properties:
GCS for external use. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects. When applied topically, it eliminates edema, flushing and itching.
Indications:
Psoriasis (excluding common plaque psoriasis), eczema, lichen planus, discoid lupus erythematosus, and other skin conditions that are resistant to less active steroid therapy.
Method of administration and dosage:
The drug in the form of 0.05% cream is applied in a very thin layer to the affected skin 1 or 2 times a day until clinical improvement is achieved. For very persistent skin lesions, especially in the case of hyperkeratosis, the anti-inflammatory effect of clobetasol can be enhanced by applying an occlusive dressing. In the absence of effect from the use of clobetasol for 2-4 weeks, it is necessary to clarify the diagnosis and correct the treatment.
Contraindications:
Nodular pruritus (Gaida), acne vulgaris, rosacea, perioral dermatitis, primary viral skin infections (herpes simplex, chickenpox), primary bacterial skin infections, primary skin lesions of fungal etiology, perianal and genital itching, dermatosis and dermatitis (including diaper) in children under 1 year of age, hypersensitivity to clobetasol, itching without inflammation.
Precautionary measures:
Avoid getting clobetasol in the eyes. When treating diseases such as psoriasis, discoid lupus erythematosus, eczema, it should be borne in mind that more pronounced atrophic changes occur on the skin of the face than on other parts of the body. The use of clobetasol in the treatment of psoriasis requires careful monitoring of the patient in order to prevent relapse, development of tolerance, widespread pustular psoriasis, and local or systemic reactions due to impaired skin barrier function.
Side effects:
Local reactions are possible – striae, thinning, dryness, skin atrophy, systemic reactions – suppression of the secretion of endogenous corticosteroids (if the weekly dose of clobetasol in the treatment of adult patients does not exceed 50 g, the indicated systemic effect is most often temporary and the function of the pituitary and adrenal cortex is normalized after termination of the course of steroid therapy).
Storage method:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees.
Package:
The cardboard box contains a tube of 25 grams, paper instructions.
